Wishlist - Virtual Firework Survival Kit

The firework season is upon us, and you don’t need to have your own dog to know how frightening Bonfire Night and these nights building up to and preceding it can be for dogs. The noises, flashing lights and smells can be very confusing and overwhelming for them, causing high levels of anxiety.

To help combat these feelings around this time, we make sure every dog in our Rescue Centre has their very own ‘Firework Relief Box’. A  package filled with a range of items designed to help dogs feel relaxed and engaged; whether that’s having fun licking peanut butter from their KONG toy, or feeling relaxed by the calming effect of liquid Valerian or Pet Remedy.

 Every donation will contribute towards purchasing a survival kit which includes:

• KONG toy
• Several tasty treats
• Chew toys – soft and tough
• Pet Remedy De-Stress & Calming spray
• Valerian Compound

    If we are oversubscribed we will put your donation where the the need is greatest.
